The design of the aquaculture pond should take into account the water circulation and sewage discharge functions. A circular pond body should be adopted to facilitate the concentration of sediment and the discharge of waste at the bottom. The depth of adult fish ponds is 1 to 1.5 meters, while that of juvenile fish ponds is 0.6 to 1 meter.
